NATURE & CULTURE
By Bus
One of the most pleasant things to do is to visit Ischia by bus, a panoramic tour to reach all six municipalities and finally stop at Sant'Angelo, the most authentic fishing village, where you can stroll and shop in exclusive boutiques.
By motorboat
Ischia is an island that can be visited by land, but also by sea. In fact, circumnavigating the island by motorboat is a unique opportunity to admire bays, coves and the entire coastal landscape. A succession of natural rock sculptures and caves are found at the center of mythological stories and tales such as the Grotta del Mago, the Spiaggia delle Monache, the Pietra dell’Elefante, the Scogli degli Innamorati, the Stone Ship or the galley of Ulysses.
Aperitif on the Boat
A special occasion to experience the best of Ischia. Renting a boat with a private chef is a precious experience where you not only indulge in the rhythm of the waves, but also enjoy a delicious lunch or an unforgettable aperitif with only the sea as a backdrop.
A Tour of Procida
Procida, so small and yet so rich in historical places. Very close to Ischia is the perfect place for a day trip.
The narrow alleys of the old quarter that lead up to the Abbey of St. Michael the Archangel and then a visit to Palazzo d'Avalos the former Bourbon prison. Go up and down the stairs and reach Corricella, the ancient fishing village famous for its multicolored and lively houses and stop to taste the typical sweet tongues, puff pastry filled with cream.

La Mortella Gardens
Nature is a non-stop guide and makes you peep inside the La Mortella Gardens created on the promontory of Zaro in the municipality of Forio. A naturalistic tour inside a real plant masterpiece, created thanks to flowers, exotic plants... and Lady Walton's love for her husband, composer Sir William Walton.
Ravino Gardens
Ischia is a place deeply linked to nature and every green space is rare and paradisiacal, like the Ravino Gardens. A botanical park created over the years by Captain Giuseppe D'Ambra and which testifies to his passion for succulents. A love so deep and so vast as to make the garden the largest collection of succulents in Europe. Inside the park, you can enjoy an absolutely special drink: the cactus cocktail.
Ischia Adventure Park
Defined as the largest adventure park in Southern Italy, Ischia Adventure Park is a park where you can live an adrenaline-filled experience while always remaining in contact with nature.
Located within the Flaiano pine forest, it is full of diversified routes and divided for every age group and with various levels of difficulty. After putting on the safety equipment and participating in the briefing, we set off to discover the park: games in the trees, walking on suspended walkways, Tibetan bridges and Tyrolean tunnels.

Horseback riding
Live a unique experience thanks to the Aragona Arabian riding school. A horseback ride to enjoy the natural and wild beauty that covers the island. A walk along the mountain paths and through woods that finally open onto suggestive viewpoints, from Piano San Paolo to Bosco della Maddalena. For the more enterprising you can reach Mount Epomeo where the view from the top of the summit takes your breath away.

HISTORY
Villa Arbusto
Located in a panoramic position, Villa Arbusto is home to the museum that bears its name. Here you can visit the rooms and discover the history of the island from prehistoric times to Roman times.
The most important archaeological find in the exhibition is the Nestor’s Cup which shows the famous engraving: “Di Nestore... The cup good for drinking. But whoever drinks from this cup, will immediately be seized by the desire of love for Aphrodite with the beautiful crown”, one of the oldest written testimonies in Attic Greek.

Castello Aragonese
Visiting Aragonese Castel is an unmissable experience if you want to fully appreciate the identity of our island. Arrive in the village of Celsa, the ancient name of Ischia Bridge, walk along the bridge that connects to the Castle and here visit the medieval citadel with churches, convents, prisons, gardens and breathtaking views. Before returning to the hotel, a stop at the Panificio di Boccia is a must to be considered a true local: don't miss the Panello, freshly baked warm bread stuffed with mortadella.

SPORT
Hiking
Called the gentle giant, Mount Epomeo is the highest mountain on the island. A mythological place where there is said to be one of the entrances to the underworld of the king of the world, Agarthi.
It is the ideal place to hike in the middle of nature until you reach the summit. Among the many itineraries the most interesting is the one that crosses the island from one side to the other and allows not only to enjoy a 360° view, but also to learn about the geological history of this territory.

Kayaking
Going to sea by boat is one way to discover the coasts of the island, but for those who love sports, kayaking is the best idea, combining physical effort with the panorama of the Ischian coast.
Moving away from the coast with the kayak you can admire the landscape made of solitary coves, caves, springs, watchtowers and churches overlooking the sea.

Visiting wineries
Eating is important, but wine is also a serious matter here in Ischia!
So serious that thanks to wine tours you can enter the special world of Ischia wine. A journey through the vineyards to delve into the world of heroic viticulture. What does this mean? It means that the vines grow on steep walls and rocky slopes reachable only by foot.
At the end of the tour, a tasting to taste the famous wines Biancolella, Forastera, Piedirosso and Per'e Palummo.
